Events
Here are the up coming events for the MK Magic Players Club. As always they are held at our regular meeting place at the Shenley Church Inn Toby. All events are Tuesday evenings, 7pm (for 7:30pm start) to 10:30pm planned finish.
Remember because this is FNM there are some nice foils to be had for participation!
To help make it easier to know what decks to bring we are standardising the rotation of events so that Block Constructed events are on the first Tuesday of each month, drafts on the second Tuesday and third and forth of the month will be Standard Constructed
Please note that Draft events usually have a cost to allow us to provide some moderate prizes in the form of boosters.
Casual Magic
We also have some casual nights up and running for everybody. We suggest that if you would like to try Magic or are looking to play again after then this might be a good place to start as the evenings are slightly less formal than our FNM nights and can involve some even more varied formats like Elder Dragon Highlander and well pretty much anything the members want to try!
The Casual Evenings are held on a Thursday at our alternate location in Bletchley (please see the Find Us Page for directions) and have a cost of approximatly £1 (to cover hall hire costs). Don't worry if you have no cards or a limited pool, just let us know you are coming and you'll find that we can normally set you up with a deck to play. It makes it a great way to try Magic without any comitment.
Some nights will have special formats played and these are normally sorted by players who plan to turn up in the previous week. The best idea is to have some decks you can play and maybe one special one such as Elder Dragon Highlander which covers most of what's played. If you're not sure just bring what you can - you'll get a game.
