Scars of Mirodin Pre-Release - Sunday 26th September

Start Time:  Doors open at 9am, first sealed event starts at 10 am.  Second sealed event starts at approx 5pm.

Format:  Main Events are sealed (6 boosters of SoM).  Drafts will be 3 x SoM.

Price:  Sealed £22.  Draft £12.

FNM's are held at our regular meeting place at the Shenley Church Inn Toby. All events are Tuesday evenings, 7pm (for 7:30pm start) to 11.00pm planned finish.

Remember because this is FNM there are some nice foils to be had for participation!

The rotation of events is as follows:

1st and 3rd Tuesday of each Month: Draft

2nd and 4th Tuesday of each Month: Standard Constructed

In the event of there being a 5th Tuesday in a month we will generally run Block Constructed but this subject to change. 

Please note that Draft events usually have a cost to allow us to provide some moderate prizes in the form of boosters.

Casual Magic

We also have some casual nights up and running for everybody. We suggest that if you would like to try Magic or are looking to play again after then this might be a good place to start as the evenings are slightly less formal than our FNM nights and can involve some even more varied formats like Elder Dragon Highlander and well pretty much anything the members want to try!

The Casual Evenings are held on a Thursday, also at the Toby Carvery (please see the Find Us Page for directions). Don't worry if you have no cards or a limited pool, just let us know you are coming and you'll find that we can normally set you up with a deck to play. It makes it a great way to try Magic without any comitment.

Some nights will have special formats played and these are normally sorted by players who plan to turn up in the previous week. The best idea is to have some decks you can play and maybe one special one such as Elder Dragon Highlander which covers most of what's played. If you're not sure just bring what you can - you'll get a game.  Here is a schedule of what's coming up on Thursday's over the next couple of months.
